Nationwide HRX Honda Lawn Mower Recall Lawsuit
On July 10, 2008 the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in association with American Honda Motor Corp., of Torrance, California initiated a nationwide recall of the HRX walk behind lawnmower because of a manufacturing defect.
According to the manufacturer, the lawn mower’s rear shield can break off allowing debris to be thrown toward the operator, which poses a laceration hazard to consumers. American Honda has received one report of a shield breaking off the lawn mower, however no injuries have been reported to this date.
